YEAR 5 ACTION PLAN
Outcome 1: Project partners and employers better understand the impacts of work-based learning experiences on student career networks and trajectories.
1.1: Compile available WBL data from different levels of education (high school, community college, TCAT, 4-year).
1.2.: Capture student and employer testimonials to continue to market the opportunities to students, families, and employer partners.
Outcome 2: Intermediary organizations understand and plan how to best assist education partners with employer engagement after the end of the grant.
2.1: Create a plan for recruiting employers in the fields of IT, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing to support new pathways.
2.2: Explore the opportunity to convene an advisory group or council to support implementation in a target sector (advanced manufacturing, healthcare, and IT).
Outcome 3: Work-based learning opportunities are accessible to more students across the secondary and postsecondary continuum.
3.1: Collaborate with partners to communicate the benefits of work-based learning with students and families to improve awareness and preparedness.
3.2: Explore virtual work-based learning models to identify best practices and increase opportunities for students.
